Yara P. Catoira-Boyle, M.D.
Dr. Yara P. Catoira-Boyle is a bilingual board-certified ophthalmologist with a passion for aesthetic medicine. She welcomes all patients who prefer to speak Spanish or Portuguese. Dr. Catoira-Boyle received her medical degree from the University of Brasilia before moving to Indianapolis in 1998 to begin an ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine where she completed training at the top of her class.
When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, backyard cookouts, ping pong, as well as non-competitive golf with her husband, Arthur Sullivan Boyle.
Education and Training
Dr. Catoira-Boyle received her medical training from the University of Brasilia in Brazil. She immigrated to the U.S. and began an internship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL before relocating to Indianapolis, IN for an Ophthalmology Residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1998. Her training also took her to New York, NY where she completed a fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2001.
